Attawalpa’s newest single is a near-seven-minute musical journey that allows us to wander through a variety of sounds and feelings. ‘Tucked In Tight’ opens with soft harmonies and piano chords, moves through uplifting string-accompanied melodies and culminates in trippy, borderline-experimental electronic soundscapes. The director of the accompanying music video, Lena Dunham, explains that she “wanted to play with this idea and confuse the audience a bit with the intimacy of what they’re watching, and simultaneously find a way to show what a nightmare being turned into #boyfriendgoals can be for the confused guy in question.” Attawalpa’s Patterns EP drops on July 16^th. -Dan Peeke
